OpenStage
OpenStage takes a traditional approach to
recording ambient music. Using a car battery
to power the synthesizer, speakers and
recording equipment and augmenting acoustic
guitar and percussion instruments,
the music interacts with the outdoor sounds
of aeroplanes overhead, distant traffic,
huge container ships and nature into one
mixed soundscape.
